Imran Khan, a renowned Pakistani politician and former Prime Minister of the country, is scheduled to deliver a highly anticipated speech at Minar-e-Pakistan tonight. Ahead of his speech, all the prominent leaders of his political party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), have spoken out against the policy brutalities that have been perpetrated against members of the party.
Reports suggest that hundreds of key members of the PTI, including Azhar Mashwani, are currently missing, and there are no clues about their whereabouts. The families of the missing individuals are understandably worried, and the police have yet to register FIRs (First Information Reports) against the criminals responsible for their disappearance. Furthermore, several other members of the PTI have been arrested by the Punjab police, but they have not yet been produced in front of a court of law.
Despite these challenges, the ongoing Jalsa, a public rally organized by the PTI, has been a resounding success. The party has introduced new trends, including new Taranas (songs), that have been received enthusiastically by the crowd. The beauty of the Jalsa lies in the fact that the participants are fully charged and emotional. The majority of the PTI's supporters are highly educated and come from middle-class families. They believe that Imran Khan has given them awareness and educated them about politics, paving the way for "Haqiqi Azadi" or true freedom.
As the Jalsa continues, the top leaders of the PTI have condemned the fascist government for cracking down on its members and trying to prevent people from attending the rally. Just before the Jalsa, the local government poured water on the entire ground to stop people from participating, but a large number of people still showed up in solidarity with the PTI.
With the ground already filled with a charged and motivated crowd, Imran Khan is expected to reach the stage soon to deliver his speech. Many are eagerly anticipating his words, hoping that he will address the challenges faced by the PTI and provide a vision for a brighter future for Pakistan. His speeches have a history of inspiring people and igniting change, and tonight's speech is expected to be no different.
